A spectacular small plant which is a wood rush (juncaceae) is frequent around the Newbigging area of Farleton. It's far more numerous throughout although I must say this particular specimen caught my eye.  Also the very hairy nature of the larger leaves reminded me of badger or deer hair bristles.
