Tormentil emerges in the very last days of April or early May. It is quite common on Hutton Roof throughout. The photo below also shows a good view of both the stem and the leaves.

I found this specimen today (29th April 2019) and without at first noticing it has 5 petals instead of the normal 4 petals, this is regular.
